Why is improvisation as a tool for working with people so innovative?

  • It stimulates creativity and spontaneity much faster because in improvisation we create without preparation, so there is no time for hesitation. You have to react quickly.
  • It builds cooperation and trust in a team more efficiently because in improvisation it is necessary to listen actively, accept, and develop partners' ideas. `

  • It is more effective in strengthening self-confidence, flexibility, and breaking patterns of thinking because improvisation in its nature is unpredictable.
Every step when creating “here and now” is about adapting to new situations.

  • It is also fun allowing you to enjoy sheer participation. The rules you learn can be applied later in a group, creating an additional element that unites the team.

Based on the principles of improvisation, I create workshops for companies and teams, as well as open ones – for those willing to attend.

Thanks to the use of unconventional improvisation methods, I introduce participants to the experience, thanks to which they directly consolidate the mentioned above skills and values. I am a trainer and a coach - so I can offer workshops based exclusively on improvisation, as well as those that combine several ways of passing on knowledge and teaching.

I have been performing regularly in the improvised theatre BEZ KLEPKI for nine years. So far, we have given over 200 live and online performances.

Since the beginning of my improvisation journey I have been learning and developing my skills - among others at the source - American theatres and training centres in Chicago - The Annoyance Theatre and iO Theater:

What is improvisation?

Improvisation or ‘Improv’ is a form of stage art in which a group of actors/improvisers spontaneously creates an imaginary reality in front of the audience. In other words, every word from the improvisers' mouths, the plot, and the characters and their relationships are invented on the spot - without any script or direction. Improvisation is an art that is also suitable for the demanding viewer who is willing to get involved in the world being created on the spot.
